CRAVE: Deserted is almost here! I'm sharing my personal festvial packing list for this special occasion. This list is designed specifically for cold-weather, camping situations. I can't wait to see all of your creative outfits out in the desert!
Fur - It's going to be cold at night. This is a great time to bust out your most fabulous faux-fur and anything else that will keep you warm and stylish. Bonus points if it's shiny and/or glowy!
Reusable lights - EL wire, LEDs, solar or battery powered lights, anything that glows in the dark. Let's light up the desert! Avoid disposable glowsticks.
Baby wipes - for hippie showers.
Trash bags - I recommend at least 2, one for trash and one for recycling. Remember - leave it better, leave it beautiful.
Ear plugs for sleeping - you can thank me later.
Gloves, scarves, hats - I'm a wimp when it comes to cold.
Dust mask or bandanna - Cuts down on black boogers. Come find me, I may have some extras to give away.
Headlamp, hand sanitizer & small packs of tissues - Never enter a dark porta-potty without these items, ladies!
Water - Plan on 1.5 - 2 gallons per person per day. Big jugs (hehehe) and a reusable water bottle are your best bet. Avoid single use plastic bottles.
Also required - Tent, sleeping bag, camping chair, sunscreen, food, boots or sneakers (no flip-flops Geoff!), warm clothes, sunglasses.
